Finally, the HCAA has launched the new website. It is a huge improvement over the past 2000 site. They even added a new feature using the OAG timetables that will help you plan flights out of TPA. I can tell this is only the beginning! Good job TPA!

Check it out:

No offense, but the old TPA website was really horrible. Thank goodness!

I think everyone in Tampa agreed to that.

I didn't have a problem with the old site...OH WELL!  Smile

I stopped in the HCAA office a few weeks back, the lady in front told me about this. I'll check it out.

Looks like the "pelican brief" is over. I actually like the intro to the new website, especially the interior of Airside A towards the NW/CO/HP/3M section.

It's about time. For being one of the world's foremost airports, it was one of the worst when it came to the cyberworld.

Go Tampa. It's about time they got rid of that ugly, tenth grade developed web site. Anyone hear when they are going to start building the new parking garage? I've never had hard time finding parking on long term, I just go to the far corner right away. Who is going to be in Airside A once C is done?

Moman,

I haven't heard of a new parking garage going up, but as far as the airsides, Southwest will occupy all but 2 of the gates at the new Airside C. Spirit will use the other two. AirTran and JetBlue will move into Airside A clearing the way for Airside D to be demolished and rebuilt.

Daedalus,

Thanks for the info on the concourses. I believe there was an article on Sunday in the Tampa Tribune talking about turing the remote economy lot into a garage. It should be done by Nov. 2005, but they didn't say a start date.

Oh, see I had heard that was cancelled due to 9/11. I'm glad they are starting that again. That will be awsome!  Big thumbs up
