Going to SFO this week to meet a friend whose plane arrives 1.5 hours after mine.

i'd like to get some shots in during this period of time.

i am arriving at the united terminal which i believe is terminal 3.

my friend is arriving at terminal 1.

can anyone recommend somewhere for me to take some good shots?

and yes i've already searched for such a topic...

Complete your baggage check, and come out of the airport.
Then once you are out, go into the hourly parking garage of the G gates(not very far to walk), and go to the G concourse arrivals area from the inside of the parking. This will take you through the walking escalator (I forgot what it's caled). This is where you will get to see United International flights, Sq, LH, MX, ANA, NZ etc. depending on the time you arrive.

If it ain't Boeing, I'm not going !

There are a couple of areas that are good inside terminal 3 itself. If you stay inside security and go to the end of the UA finger pier (gate 88, I think) You can get pretty good pics of departing aircraft on the 28's. The top of the International Terminal Parking Garages also offer some pretty good view.....

Here is a website for pics outside the airport itself
