Hi everyone...

I wanted to ask for some clarification on some observations I made at SEA and LAX.

I saw a UA 777-200, DL 767-400, and a China Airlines A330 all at SEA today. Do these carriers regularly operate these aircraft types into SEA?

Also, driving away from the LAX employee lot, I saw a Korean Air MD-11 landing. However, I struggled to find the "cargo" titles on the aircraft. Does KE still operate the MD-11 (pax or cargo)? I was under the impression that the type was completely retired from both pax and cargo operations.

Thank you for your time and help.

Happy flying!

Warm Regards,

Travis/LAX  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Korean Air does operate the MD11 into LAX as a cargo carrier. It often departs LAX at around 630pm on 25R. They also fly the 747 in as a cargo plane. The only passenger planes KE flies in are its 744s and 772s. Once in a while, they'll bring in a 773.

My posts/replies are strictly my opinion and not that of any company, organization, or Southwest Airlines.

During the summer season, I believe there is also a 772 that operates on ORD-SEA to handle increased traffic, especially for connections to points in Europe.
