Cebu To Announce Order Tomorrow

Cebu will announce an order for a dozen of Airbus A320 to replace its DC-9.

Any word on whether the DC9's will go to NW, or into retirement?

I thought Cebu was making a deal with Jetstar to take over their 717 fleet, while Jetstar continues recieving new A32Xs.

Anyone else remember this?

I know that NW collects antiques, but given that Cebu is retiring them because there are Major due on them, it would be wise of NW to either pass on them or Part them out.

but if IM not mistaken they are also taking 3 A320's

so maybe not sure 9 A319's and 3 A320's.

maybe somebody can enlighten us.

the article above mentions 12 A319's but im sure thats not right.

Finally the decision was made, I thought it would have been announced at Farnborough.

What about NW, probably for parts as I understand that they are close to a Major, (which is part of the reason that Cebu retired them).
