SAS Scandinavian Airlines launching new routes from Stockholm from the winter schedule 31st October.
(Released two days ago but I havn´t seen the news in the forum yet)

The CRSs is only updated with BUD and TXL service, I have not seen
any info about schedule and aircraft type.

To:
Hamburg (Lufthansa flies double daily at moment)
Stuttgart
Budapest (this destination was launched earlier this summer)

Berlin Tegel get a Dash-Q400 morningservice, third daily flight.

Old snowflake-destinations:
Rome
Nice
Athens
Istanbul

SAS will also rearrange the daily schedule to a "shuttle-service" with 12 daily departure each way between Gothenburg (Swedens 2nd largest city) and Copenhagen. Most of the flights operated by Dash Q400 except morning departures with MD or B737-type.

At the same time SAS will stop serving Karlstad, KSD (domestic) from Stockholm.

Will Skyways be picking up the Karlstad-Arlanda route after SAS leaves it?

SAS operates a mix of Dash-Q400 and B736 on the ARN-KSD route. SAS will end the service on October 30 and Skyways will pick up the route from November 1. Skyways says that they will eventually have 8 flights a day on the route instead of SAS 5 flights a day.

8 flights pr day to KSD sounds a lot. Is there really a marked for that many??

Solnabo,

I have been flying Dash from Bromma to CPH once. So you are probably right.

I personally find TXL a little bit far away from ARN to be flown by a prop, so cramped. I would instead consider changing in CPH - the old usual way, if there is no big difference in cost.
