Upon departure from LAX this morning, I caught sight of a single jetBlue A320 parked at the very far end of the remote parking stands.

Any idea what this visitor from nearby Long Beach is doing there?

my guess is a late night diversion from last night into long beach that didnt make curfew. happens all the time to lgb/sna when flights are extremely late, airlines will send the flight, divert it to lax, and bus their pax
