Be happy for me, this is BIG news in my life! I have always wanted to work a major air carrier tower and while STL may not be as busy as it was a few years ago they are still pulling a good amount of traffic.

Not only am I getting to a big tower Im getting to move to a new city that is close to home (MCI) and close to family, not to mention getting back to city life.

Ive been at Waco approach for 4 years now and Im not a small town, bible belt kind of person so it seems Im winning in all directions.

As an airplane lover which would you take?

Congrats ATCboy73! I work for STL airport authority, so if you talk to airport vehicle "Car 17", it's a good chance it'll be me. Particularly during midnights.

Oh, by the way, when you meet John Ryan, don't believe anything he says about Norm Schlaack (me). LOL. He's a great friend of mine.

HEY Boeing nut, thanks.

John and I went to college together and he is one of the reasons I got the position I did.

A true stand up guy!

Congratulations on your move Atcboy73!!!

Lots of good STL folks around Anet, always good to have the inside scoop. I will be passing through STL Friday AM so I will be ahead of your move. Be nice to know we will be in good hands around STL.

Okie

Congrats. Too bad you can't make the terminal look like it did in your pictures. Sad TC

Now when I'm away at college Atc can provide the news floating around the airport. Good luck!

Phil (Great name btw!!),

Welcome to STL!! I know that you were really looking forward to this promotion, it's great to see that you got it. If one of those ops cars is escorting a fuel truck from the north side to the Delta pad or somewhere over there, it might be me. The area should be jumpin' right when you get here. The Cardinals will be right in the playoffs as you arrive. This city will be going crazy!

There are a few of us around this goofy website. If you need to know anything about the town feel free to email me. I've lived here all my life.
