Ryanair Has Introduced 'farefinder'

Ryanair has introduced a new facility - farefinder - to help you find low fares. Choose the required dates and it'll give you numerous dates after you chosen one so you can compare fares. I personally think it's very useable, useful and worthwhile because it saves time, and it should, fingers' crossed, help those who can't always, for whatever reason, find the low fares find them. It's available here:
http://www.bookryanair.com/farefinder/cgi-bin/skylights.cgi. It nicely illustrates that the cheapest fares are almost always Tuesday-Thursday.

FR's current sale enables you to secure 45p or 45 cent flights (plus tax). 45 CENTS! I'm hoping to fly 11 times with FR over 4 days in November, and all but one of those will be 45p or 45 cents! Superb. They have been at that price for nearly a week now; I just hope they remain as such until I can actually book them, or else I'll have to change the damn dates.

Thanks for letting everyone know about the farefinder - it will make finding the cheapest fares a little bit easier, though I have no complaints as I got a 90p fare a week ago. I guess that Ryanair wanted to catch up with Easyjet which lists all fares for flights the day prior through to, and including, the day after the target departure date.

Ryan is tricky. I have noticed that it is often cheaper to book two oneway tickets over a weekend than a returnticket. At least from Stockholm Skavsta.

True, but Jet2 were the first of the UK LCCs to offer this facility. What Ryanair don't tell you that this tool is being used to try and get around software which has been developed for the travel industry to enable them to compare fares of competing carriers in one entry.

Unfortunately for FR, there is a simple fix - it's only the URL which has changed. Therefore the program will likely offer this same facility in a few weeks.

Check the following link out. It shows you fares over a couple of months. Unfortunately it only allows you to choose UK and Irish starting airports but you can work "backwards" to overcome this insular shortcomimg:

This will be my first visit to DUB and even to the country ! Any advice for that day (spotting around the airport and then shopping) ?

Did you flights cost just under 35 EUR or something including tax and card fees? DUB's a great place and it has very good spotting locations. There's a brilliant spotting location right by runway 28 (about a 20-30 minute walk from the terminal - easy - or you can go by bus and walk the rest of the way). If you email me I'll give you some more details.

My next four trips on FR are in just under 2 weeks time, flying EDI-DUB-STN-DUB-MAN - on 3 732s and 1 738.

I'm HOPING to go in November (or if not then sometime else this year) flying MAN-DUB-PIK-STN-GRO-BGY-STN-NYO-HHN-STN-DUB-MAN. The total cost at the moment, including all taxes and card fees, is about 168 GBP, which is not bad for 11 flights. I'm also hoping to go MAN-DUB-CRL-DUB-MAN (it'll be a day and a bit trip) in February next year.

Total cost for the flights was €29.36 plus a €5.00 credit card surcharge. The flights were priced at €0.50 one way, and €0.49 one week later... This is the same price I paid for CRL-BGY-CRL in june.
