OK, guys, please bear with this low-tech old geezer. I just went on-line and checked in for my TED flight RNO-DEN tomorrow. I printed my boarding pass. But how do I use the computer kiosk at the airport tomorrow to check my bag? I guess I'm just a worry-wart, as I'm sure the directions on the gizmo will be clear, but any advance help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In my experience, not with UA though, The agent was there to do it for me most of the time. The directions are really easy and most of the time you have to got the the designated counter area for bags especially on DL out of LGA.
ENJOY YOUR FLIGHT and write a TRIP REPORT!!!!!!!!

I have used kiosk check-in with UA many times. It's very easy to check your bags. If the agent isn't there (however, in my experience there has always been one), the computer will ask you if you have any bags to check. If so, type in the amount of bags and proceed to the very short line labeled "Easycheck-in Passengers with Bags." They'll look at your boarding pass, stick the tag on your bag and send it away. Too easy and much better than standing in line.
