Hey guys,

I just wanted to say God Bless to all those in the path of Frances, I hope everything is ok for you all. I myself have just finished preparing my place for the inevitable.

As people have said MCO will be closed for 3 days minimum, the airport authority is still cleaning up from Charley. VS have cancelled all flights up until MON with obviously the possibility of more depending on the destruction of Frances...

Once again to all those in the path of the big b**ch God Bless and be safe..

I cant wait to see all the planes that are going to be ferried here to ride out the storm, like last time with the Gulfstreams.

Lets not forget those who fly INTO the Hurricane on purpose, in the intrest of collecting Data and valuable information about the storms structure.

To me these are the unsung heroes of aviation and meteorology, whilst other planes avoid a Hurricane, these guys go right through one..

Sorry if this might be considered inappropriate and I'll understand if thsi gets deleted off, but I'm looking for an opportunity to take a short leave of absence and go down and volunteer. If you guys know about opportunities, just go through my profile to e-mail me.

My apologies in adance to the moderator, and I hope he/she will make an exception in this time of great need.
