Song Gets The Day Off

With all the Florida airport closures, Song has managed to pretty much get the day off.

Not a single Song aircraft has been airborne over the last few hours. The only remaining operations is a single evening JFK-ATL flight and a few FLL flights still pending for later this evening if the airline decides to resume operations at FLL.

The BOS-LAS-BOS flight is still scheduled for today, and operated yesterday (with each flight leaving and arriving a few minutes early).

my flight tomorrow from BOS to TPA is still scheduled... I called and talked to a rep and he said that flights into TPA will resume tomorrow am...

It was strange being at Logan yesterday and seeing a noticeable drop in flight volume. I was there for an hour or so, no Song flights while I was there, and AA had a lot of planes parked also.

Tanyaluvs2fly - Lucky it is tomorrow, 6 Sep and not today, 5 Sep. The weather here where I am just northwest of TPA is worse than yesterday. I recall the news saying that TPA would reopen today, 5 Sep. With stunt pilots? Yes, I know A/C handle this sort of WX all the time, but it will be bumpy. My house is under an area where the majority of A/C coming into TPA fly over and it was rather eerie not hearing a single plane that past 2 days.


I miss those DL L-1011's
