I'm curious if USAir had any 757's in the late 80's/early 90's color scheme? Did the EAL 757s come after the company had decided on the silver "USAir" scheme?

All the old 757 shots I find are of the current 'Airways scheme or the silver 1990's "USAir" colors

All US 757's where delivered in the above silver USAir scheme, and all where delivered before the current livery, USAirways branding was introduced. The first US 757 to enter service was N604AU, ex-Eastern.

US Airways has operated a total of 34 757-200's. Some were delivered fresh from the factory but the first 8 examples were ex-Eastern aircraft. All sported the USAir livery, but never in the orange, brown, and silver one.

Also, USAir did not beging 757 service until around March or April of 1992, which was long after the red/blue/silver scheme was introduced around the same time of year in 1989.

USAir placed its B757 order in December 1991. As part of that order, USAir agreed to lease 10 ex-Eastern B757-225s from GECAS. In December 1992, USAir agreed to lease 1 more ex-Eastern B757-225 from Boeing Capital. The 10 GECAS B757-225s are still in the US Airways fleet.

USAir received 23 new B757-2B7s from Boeing between February 1993 and July 1995. 21 of these remain in the US Airways fleet.

I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.
