Hmmm....looks like they're ramping up Italian operations in anticipation of Alitalia going under. I wonder if other airlines have contingency plans to increase service in Italy.

The new CIA-VLC flight is very interesting. AZ will start daily FCO-VLC with MDD-80 from the end of October.
VAweb also flies daily FCO-VLC with A320.
It's also very interesting that VLC is linked only with CIA and not STN. Just one month ago EZY announced the new route STN-VLC. Will we see FR start also VLC-STN very soon??

Did someone hear my call for more routes?
Ryanair flying to Valencia is great news! With all the people coming from especially the UK, I´m sure that they will start more routes once they´re up and running here.

Volareweb and Alitalia are both flying MXP-VLC, and Iberia will be starting soon on the same route. I suppose Ryanair might be looking at VLC-Milan (Bergamo) here... I guess more airlines on the same route mean better prices, but I am eager to get more variety out of VLC!!!
