$100 dollar checks to arrive mid-month, always good fun.

Hold on to that trophy for now. With the closing and repaving of a runway at EWR, heavy rains from Frances yesterday and now wind & rain today in the New York area, that likely will not happen for September.

How would they know how other carriers performed? Aug on-time figures won't be released until beginning of October and I don't think all the data for some carriers has been tabulated yet.

****

While the data does not go public until October, it is released immediately to the airlines at the end of each month. Continental's on-time % for August was higher than the major carriers that it competes against. They also had 17 100% completion days which is pretty good too.
