apparently, LX plans to concentrate its flights on dock E at its most important airoprt, ZRH. this is due to chronical delay from which LX suffers big time.
as dock E is in a favourable location (between the three runways), so taxi times might be reduced.
Interesting was also that LX would prefer to use Terminal A/B exclusively. would it make sence for unique to reopen Termanl B in order to serve LX's wishes?
if they would concentrate all flights on dock E, this would be a clear advantage for transfer pax, but on the other hand, LX wants to focus more on O&D passengers as they generate ususally better yields. other problems might be lounges. i think LX operates lounges on Terminal A, but only a shared lounge on Dock E. not sure though.
what do you guys think of LX's considerations?
