They're not often in the news and we often say no news is good news, but I thought about posting this article on Transat A.T's (parent company of charter Air Transat) 3rd quarter results. Quite good I should add. Looks like cutting hot meals and complimentary drinks helped.

Good to see Transat has had plenty of good news in the past year or two. Things were rocky for them before September 11th after that summer with a few newsworthy incidents, and of course having to deal with the effects of September 11th just like everybody else. They have successfully managed to stay alive and even prosper, so good for them!
It is too bad they have had to cut inflight service, as has Skyservice, but perhaps in time things will improve in this regard.
