There were some talks that Croatia will get 2 BE-200 firefighters from Russia as a debt repayment but as of latest it seems that this was cancelled.
Although announcment of aquiring was made by goverment and cancellation is just rumor.

The Beriev-200 is a twin-turbojet plane, based on the military Albatros. It has a high-mounted swept wing with engines mounted above the center wing section. T-tail and pressurized 2-step boat hull with conventional airliner-style pilot cabin conclude aircraft appearance. Hull is divided into separate watertight compartments, keeping it afloat even if any two adjacent compartments are flooded. Unlike existing competitors, Be-200 fuselage is fully watertight.
Retractable tricycle landing gear allows Be-200 to operate from class B airfields. In its amphibian form it can operate from water surface deeper than 2m and wave height 1.2m (sea state 3). Water taxi speed is up to 50km/h, controlled by the stern water rudder and/or engines trust variation. The standard Be-200 uses Ukranian built 73.6kN ZMKB Progress D-436Tengines. Location of engines and mounts design allows to accommodate almost any turbojet (or turboprop) powerplant of sufficient power. BMW-Rolls-Royce BR-715-53 turbofan or Allison GMA-2100 turbofan are also considered as a custom option for production aircraft.
The aircraft has been designed and will be tested in conformity with FAR-25 airworthiness standards which will ease its certification under the U.S. Federal Air Register and European Air Register. Aircraft is equipped by all-weather navigation system developed specifically for this airplane by Allied Signal and the Russian Institute of Navigation Equipment.
Be-200 is built at Irkutsk. This production complex built aircraft from almost every design bureau (mostly military). The first static specimen was delivered in March 1995. The second Be-200 for flight tests passed live tests of its electrical equipment and hydraulic and control systems. Be-200 differs from other amphibian aircraft by its multi-functionality (without negative impact on performance in any role).
Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations will be the main customer for Be-200. The Ministry is planning to buy 8 such aircraft by 2005. The aircraft will be used for search & rescue operations. The company is also in talks with companies in France, Greece, Algeria, Japan, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Australiaand other Pacific Rim states to mainly supply the fire-fighting versions of the Beriev-200.

In the recent edition of Airliner World there is a news item that says that a small Italian airline is looking into ordering 4 Beriev 200 for flights from places like Lipari island. Allegedly, they are also interested in taking as many as 15 2nd hand Twotter floatplanes (wherever one can source them...) for seaplane services around Italy. I seriously doubt that this is more than just a dream on paper, particularly as I really don't see a market for such an operation given the relatively good airport infrastructure in Italy.
