Forgive me if someone's already got to this before me.... My partner is flying on Indy Air as we speak. He called me from the plane as they waited for takeoff clearance. Said that when he got to GSP this morning, there were lots of "extra" people around the gate with "AC" ID badges. He asked what was going on, and was told "it's a surprise". They said there were big plans for the Carolinas in store.

Then, while the Captain was briefing the pax on his IAD-JFK flight, he mentioned that there was to be a big announcement from Independence today at 1pm. What's going on?? I know I read elsewhere that Indy is announcing nonstops to TPA from a few Southeastern cities, but this sounds bigger than that.... I'm excited!
