What a sight to see the newest member of the Independence Air family in person today. N803BR made a proving run to JAX and stayed about an hour. Will also return 17 times between now and Oct. 20 and I will probably get to ride in her at least once in that time. Can't wait to feel that high performance climb!!! FlyI all the way!!!

That same airplane arrived in MCO about 15 minutes ago and is parked on the west ramp awaiting its IFE installation. I have to say, it looks pretty sharp.

Could someone clarify if the engines are blue or purple? The A319 engines look blue, yet the CRJ engines look purple-ish...

I saw the airplane from the windows of B4 about 1:15pm as it arrived... very sharp looking aircraft. I saw all the Indy personnel snapping away with their cameras.

I went to the airport (MCO) earlier today and was looking to see if the bird was at the Live Tv facility and the only things that were there were a CO 73G and a WS 73G.

Sean,
Its on final right now for MCO again (9/15 @2030L). Apparently, last night's MCO rotation was another fam-flight. I'm gonna go outside and check it out again.

Yeah, the engines are really the same color as the seats inside, indigo or as we say in the line stations, electric blue. Very snazzy.
Sean, our planes won't be at the livetv facility, b/c we pulled the plug with them over pricing issues, and instead selected the system Song uses. These first couple won't have until late this year at earliest we were told.

Groundstop,
I am wondering if it is going to be an overnighter for the LiveTV installation or are they going to fly it back to IAD everynight. I want to get a pic of it here soon.
