Pretty sure I heard IAD-MCO and IAD-TPA to start. I'm sure some Indy Air folks can elaborate.

I read that I-air was going to fly to the west coast eventually with their 'Buses. I'd be interested to know when we'll find out what cities they're going to...on one post someone posted a PDF that showed I-air's route plans up to 2006.
And if they come to SLC I'll welcome them with open arms and look for their Bus on the flight path over my neighborhood. And I'd think about flying to Dulles with them too (I want to visit the NASM again).

Thanks for the info, MCO and TPA routes would certainly require more than their current RJ fleet, we have 5 RJ flights a day from SYR to IAD.

From what I have been told our A319s will serve TPA,MCO,LAX,LAS,SAN,PHX,DEN,DFW,IAH,AUS,SAT,MSP,SEA,SFO,PBI,FLL and RSW. This of course is unofficial and subject to change but is based on several route maps I have seen. And other cities may be added later on as well or some on the original list might not make it or start later than we want.I do know that LAX was supposed to be our second airbus city but we were having trouble getting gate space so its delayed.

MCO is going to be a MX base mainly for the Bus within the next month. Unsure of a possible west coast MX base as well.

MX base in MCO?? Sure sounds like they want to be like us(jetBlue) since we are building a $700 million MX and training facility. Based on their 6 values, and a few other things, seems they feel taking a page right out of jetBlue. Too bad they will never be like us or be better than us.

From what I have been told our A319s will serve...MSP
Any idea where they're going to park the 319 at MSP? Not a whole lot of room at the "E concourse inn"... any chance of a C gate (perhaps down by HP) or will they be relegated to the new Humphrey terminal?

They could really benefit be beating AA on a LAX-RDU nonstop. From all the speculation I have read American is planning this new nonstop flight as the O&D numbers are certainly there. I realize that Independence is looking to build up their IAD hubs, but the RDU-LAX nonstop would be a financial winner. Someone with the airline plant that bug for the executives to contemplate.
Oh how I miss Midway Airlines. A class act right to then end.
