I peeked ahead in the NW site and noticed Friday Dec 17, NW has five morning originators at FNT
7 00 to DTW
7 35 to MSP
7 55 to FLL
8 10 to MCO
8 30 to DTW
All are DC youknowwhats except the MSP trip. Its an Avro 85.
Also toss in two southbound airTrans and a CO COnnection 1900 and that makes for a busy morning at Bishop airport, Flint MI.
safe

Great! I love FNT and fly out of there often. Now, if only Jet Blue would wake up and start service there.

I'm sure Jet Blue will rush right into FNT, right after they've taken care of Bay City/Saginaw and Traverse City.

I don't understand that comment. Flint would make perfect sense as most of the population of Detroit does not live near Metro. Flint continues to grow because of it's location.

You can't forget the action-packed ATA Connection SF-3 early, early (6am?) flight to MDW, the even more thrilling YX Connection BE-1 to MKE, and the before-the-sun-rises DL Connection CRJ departures to ATL and CVG.  Smile

Where the heck do all those overnight flight crews stay in the Flint area???

Any other Friday, there would also probably a Funjet Vacations charter leaving for Las Vegas....they do not operate many of the Vegas flights that weekend before Christmas due to lack of interest.

Having a smoking section in a restaurant is like having a peeing section in a swimming pool.....

About the crews....That's a great question, E-Bob. Maybe they bus down to DTW and stay at motel row across the freeway from 22L.
just kidding............knuck-knuck-knuck.....

Easy answer -- Marriott Courtyard, Holiday Inn, etc. at Gateway -- easy shuttle ride from FNT -- I've ridden with many a crew when I fly out of FNT
