Flying with flying colors to Mexico on a 757, been given a 10 hour flight time??? Surely there is a fuel stop in this flight time even though the ticket says a direct flight???? Help !!! Don't fancy sitting on a cramped 757 for 10 hours,,,,,

Direct actually doesn't mean nonstop. For a full explanation:
direct: same plane, one or more stops
connecting: two or more planes.
A 757 would definitely need a fuel stop, probably in Canada rather than the US (since the final destination is not in the US). And don't expect an A330 or 767 to be any less cramped than a 757, it's all about the seat pitch, not the number of aisles etc. In fact a 757 would be preferable cos there won't be so many of you (a) trying to board or (b) get through immigration or (c) fight it out at baggage claim.
Enjoy your trip.
