Airport Hotel Near Nagoya Airport

As stated in the thread, I may have to overnight at Nagoya for an evening in December. Is there any recommendation for hotels near Nagoya Airport? Or do I need to stay downtown?

There are a couple of hotels within easy walking distance of the int'l terminal. However, those hotels were fairly small.
Since it is close to the airport, language shouldn't be a problem but finding it maybe if you aren't up to speed on Japanese.

What airline are you taking? If you are up for it, I would strongly recommend
the ANA hotel in Nagoya city itself. It's about 30 min by shuttle bus.
The rates are from 8,000 on up.

I have no relationship with them. I just stayed there a few times and
thought it was decent.

Last October I had to overnight in Nagoya. I could not find anything at the airport. I took the shuttle bus to the city and stayed at a Days Inn. It was about two blocks from the bus stop ( at another hotel which name I cannot remember). They spoke English at the hotel which was convenient.
