I was looking around the other day, And I noticed that UA had scheduled a 763 from ORD-PDX...anyways, I know they occasionally to this at certain stations for additional capactiy even if its just for a day, it still shows up in the time table...examples are IND...etc. Anyways, I was wondering if this is going to be just for a week or a few days or will it stick around?? Thanks!

Leneld saw the same thing about a week ago...probably just a substitution. UA has operated a 763 on the ORD-PDX route in the past as well.

What's really strange is United did not use a 767 at PDX at all this summer, but some strange reason that aircraft type has been used for that route ever since labor day. I'm just glad to see it here at PDX...

UA used a 767 for the ORD-PDX route a while back. Was disspointed to see it leave or at least reduced.

I'm guessing what you saw was a replacement aircraft.

Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

hi Flyboy,

Just checked our internal sked and it looks like flight 1263 from ORD to PDX will be running as a domestic 763 for a while. The sked I looked at appears to show it running through till the Winter/Fall schedule change October 31st. It also appears that the aircraft overnights and leaves at a 9:05am departure back to ORD.

Hope this info helps!

The debate continues... Starwood or Hyatt... which is better
