Hi !
I was out at MSP last night and was surprised to see a US Airways A319 in full Star Alliance clours. Must be brand new, because I have not heared or read about it before.
Unfortunatly I could not 100% recognize the reg. It was either N700UW or N701UW. Can anybody help ?

May be hard to find out, but does anyone know what routes that plane will be flying?

The A319 that was at MSP on 09/22/04 with Star Alliance colors was N701UW. I got an e-mail from another spotter that saw it.

Now all I got to do is get that pesky US 757 in S.A. colors. It actually was in at PHL & BWI on Tuesday. It arrived at PHL about 7pm. No chance for photos then.

Yes, this is exactly the answer to US' problems. Spend more money they don't have on something as pointless as a new livery. No wonder then that they're headed the way of the dodo...

Why in the world are the titles written so small? They must be the smallest I've seen written on a star alliance jet. Even blind people can see the star alliance title. If they ever get around to putting this logo on the 330's, I hope the titles are much larger than this one.

N702UW is also painted in Star Alliance colors. I just saw it land at LGA.
How many planes is US Airways painting i these colors? This is weird ot me to have 3 of them within a couple weeks.

Jasepl,
They are probably being paid by StarAlliance to paint it in their livery, because most members, if not all, have painted one or more a/c in Star livery. A few example would be Thai, Lufthansa, Singapore, ANA. So it's not uncommon to see more and more of these a/c in Star livery
