I recently heard that Embraer cancelled US Airways order confirmation of the E170 jets it was planning on using for it's Mid-Atlantic operation because of the bankruptcy filing. Has anyone heard this also and if so does anyone know what will become of Mid-Atlantic Airways? Will it be scrapped, shut-down, different equipment? Any news? Will they have to return the ones they already have?

Embraer has currently stopped delivering new aircraft to US Airways. US Airways plans to continue operating MidAtlantic with its current fleet, and to resume delivery of aircraft as soon as possible. US currently has 22 EMB-170 aircraft. US will not have to return any of these aircraft to Embraer or to the aircraft lessors.
I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.
