Minimum Age Of Infants?

Dear all:

I again need some personal information... and in the past this page was perfect:

What is the minimum recommended age for an infant to travel? I checked the FAQs at http://www.ba.com. They say 48 hrs.. I am just not sure whether this can happen without danger.. can someone give me some profound advice how long age he/she would recommend someone to wait to travel with a newborn baby... no risk in this matter..! Or is 48 hrs without any risk?

Parents flew me across the country at 4 days old. I haven't suffered THAT much damage from it, even if others beg to differ  Smile
