Would anyone like to shed some light on the now confirmed fact that Tradewinds Airlines has acquired 1 747 and up to 7 more? Are these leased? bought? stolen?

I was under the impression that this company was under a risky financial situation and was scrapping and selling previously owned L-1011's to get a cash infusion. Apparently their warchest was MUCH larger than I thought.

Anyone out there with some news.....or an imagination, would be greatly appreciated.

N754pr-

Seen a month ago? The sole picture in the db was taken on September 13, which I believe was two weeks ago.....not quite a month. Perhaps you saw them a month ago, but not everyone else here has the inside scoop on Tradewinds and their completely unforseen fleet aqcuisitions.
