1h10 Enough At AMS

This month i am flying KLM from BRU to Curacao via AMS. There is only 1h10 for transfer is that enough ?

Flanders + Wallonnia + Brussels = the UNITED STATES of BELGIUM

Yeah, more than enough. I just transfered there with only 45mins between flights, and it gave me time to spare. Arguably the most effective airport in Europe. The irony is, it's the one airport I wouldn't mind spending a couple of hours walking around Smile

At the moment the minimum connecting time at AMS is 50 Minutes at the moment
for International to International Flights. Definitely you have enough time for your connecting flight. Also keep in mind, when you check-in at Zaventem airport you will receive your connecting boarding passes and your luggage will be checked all the way through.

When i flew into AMS last friday the captain announced to all passengers connecting on other international flights to please allow 45 minutes to connect with there flight. so 1hr 10 seems like plenty of time!

At AMS in 1H10Mins you'll be able to:
-go from Schengen (your arrival) to non-Schengen part (your departure),
-have a beer,
-shop a little around,
-even take a shower at the Mercury hotel.

AMS is one very easy to transfer airport. I did a few transfers between VIE-AMS and AMS-DTW flights when the connection times were about 35-40 mins due to inbound flights being late.

The airline is responsible if the transfer time proves to be too short, if I'm not mistaken, so they'll make sure you will have enough time

I'd say, DO get asap from Schengen to the non-Schengen area, since queues might build up at the immigration desks between these parts, after that I'd say plenty of time, have fun !
