Hey!
Just a note to inform you that SN has released its 1st tv commercial. It's available on its website: http://www.flysn.com (just go to the bottom of the page and click on "Mr Smith")
Creating commercial for airlines is not an easy task and the SN ad agency has done a great job: it's creative, fresh and dynamic. Have a look!

Very good indeed. If they would be able now to deliver on this promise almost every flight (I enjoyed some very good ones lately but also some more average ones, certainly at ground service level (check-in and lounge), they will most certainly become the preferred carrier for those flying from and to Brussels.

Great commercial for a great airline, in my opinion. SN Brussels has been quick to learn the art of marketing. But in addition the airline delivers what it promises: comfortable seating in its mainly Avro fleet (2-3, unlike its main competitors BA, KL and LH which all have 3-3), free meals (hot if flight > 2 hrs) and drinks, firendly service.

I am frequent flier with SN Brussels and I aknowledge that their in-flight service is quite good. However ground services at BRU are a disaster, especially at the time of baggage pick-up. You have to wait hours for the baggage at BRU - it is probably the "slowest" airport I have seen. While it is not SN Brussels fault, it does leave a very bad impression on the people who fly SN Brussels.

yes, as still mentioned, from the intra-euorpean carriers SN Brussels is one of the best (or the best, but I've to admit, I don't know all of them ....)
great "little" airline and wonderful planes (of course, you all know my nick-name)

What does the SN stand for in SN Brussels Airlines?
SN Brussels was formerly called DAT (Delta Air Transport) and was a subsidiary of Sabena for short-haul flights made with regional aircraft. When Sabena went bankrupt, DAT remained alive and immediately took over the main European routes of Sabena, keeping the SN code of Sabena. It was renamed SN Brussels Airlines after a few months, the SN reminding of its origins.
SN is also very dear in the heart of many Belgians...

A fantastic commercial indeed and what is even more stunning and not mentioned so far: ALL actors are real SN employees! So, don't be surprised to see a familiar looking and charming smile when boarding your SN flight somewhere in Europe or Africa one day!
The commercial is set to be played on screens in the SN airport lounges in Brussels and Africa, in cinemas and on selected TV channels in Belgium (mainly biz news channels)
