Hey all:

This is just an observation. It seems to me that over the course of the past 2-3 months, the number of diversions and incidents and emergencies etc, seem to be occurring at an alarming rate.

Now, I'm not in the aviation industry at all, this is just a personal observation.

For anyone who works in the industry, does it appear that way? That there seem to be many more diversions, emergencies, bomb scares, terrorist threats, etc?

Again, I must say, that I understand that emergency landings and diversions etc, are a NORMAL occurrance in the course of day in the airlines, but is it truly more than usual lately?
