Are they using A7 at CLT? I noticed that the "extra" UA flights have been moved to A4.

I was at HSV yesterday and was trying to figure out why there was an Independence Air ticket counter, but no planes or employees around. Continental Express is already serving the HSV-IAD route. It's going to be interesting which of the 2 is the most successful.

Just to clarify-
Nobody in HSV currently serves IAD. DL and US serve DCA and CO only serves IAH and EWR. We haven't had service to IAD since UAX in the mid-90's.
TSA collects the airlines' daily numbers, and, although I hear no specifics, they are supposed to be running full or close to it (on their first day). Then again, everybody in HSV is running full on the first. (Fall break.)

Doeas anybody know what gates they are going to use in TPA? The airport is starting work on their ticket counter as we speak. The counter is going in right next to us (WN).
I hear they will join Spirit Airlines at our new airside C next year.

.....and United Airlines starts service to Shanghai, Hanoi and Nagoya. Hmmm, which airline do you want to fly??? Independence Air....if you're in global business, they can't help you.

Chances are they get to start in the infamous D, as that is the only area that has any gates open. Poor Delta will have to figure out where they will be parking their jets.
