Does anyone out there know anything about WAL L1011-50 C5-WAL?

I know it used to be 3D-NEG with Northeast Bolivian, but I was wondering if anyone has actually flown on it, and if so, what was your experience?

Not 100% positive on this, but this plane should still be sitting up at DAL awaiting refurbishment and a new paint job...

I love tri-jets and I really love the L-1011 but, why would they introduce another type of A/C?

World Airways (if this is the Company the above is referring to) has no plans to operate L-1011's at this time or any time soon...must be another World Air being referred to ....?

Yes, World Air Leasing (leasing and management company), as opposed to World Airways (MD11/DC10 operator).

I think they are managing the Northeast Bolivian L1011 fleet.

I was curious as to whether anyone had flown on it.

I know it was the one they used for "LAX".
