What Ever Happend To AF B767s?

hello

what ever happend to Air Frances B767-300s and there B767-200s?

- What happend to them after Air France?
- What was the last flight?
- When where they aquired?
- Did they ever fly to SXM?

I also noted when i was looking in the photos that they did a lot of sharing routes with the A340-300

The AF 763s were replaced with A332s, which have more in common with AF''s A343 fleet.

AF had an odd-mix of 767s, some of which were acquired through mergers, others ordered directly from Boeing, etc. etc.

I know that AF's 762ERs are now with EL AL, I am not sure of where the 763s are, but I think that they went to other carriers one-by-one.

As far as I recall, the 763s never served St. Maarten.....the 763s were used on some transatlantic services and also, for a period, were a regular on the route between Paris and Cayanne.

The AF 767-300 served CDG-BOS, CDG-PHL, and CDG-CVG for a while.

I can confirm the very last commercial flight was AF379 on 01 Jun 2003 from PHL to CDG, operated by F-GHGI. This aircraft was subsequently repainted at Orly and delivered to Zoom of Canada later that month.

As for the B762s, AF had only 2, registered F-GHGD and F-GHGE, and they are currently indeed operating with LY, and before that, they were with now-defunct Balkan Bulgaria for a while:

Apart from BOS, CVG and PHL, AF also used the B763ER, registrations F-GHGF/G/H/I/J, to ATL when they first opened flights there in the late 90s, as well as for a second daily ORD flight when they still operated that flight, for one of the many YUL flights, and also to IAH, SFO and YYZ for a while. The B763ERs could also occasionally be seen on the West African network alongside the A310s. I remember flying one to OUA.

I remember seeing a Air France B767-300 a year and 1/2 ago at CDG, It was opperating to MXP and my flight which was on a A320 was going to MAD.

Those AF 767s must have had to been the dirtiest planes in the Fleet!!

I saw a picture of the cabin of a TransAero 763 and it was obviously ex-AF, the blue seats and everything.
