On a recent trip home to Oahu, I was watching some of the inerisland flights take off and it got me wondering about a few things I was hoping you guys could answer (BTW I apologize if this has been asked before) On flights to Lihue and Kahului, what altitude do you fly at and usually how fast are you going?

I've been on quite a few inter-island flights but I just never thought about it until now, and its BUGGING MEA Middle East Airlines (Lebanon)">ME!!!  Smile

Mahalos in advance.

Flew on a 717 with Hawaiian from Honolulu to Kona and the flight time was 30 mins or so and we got up to 27,000 I believe.

On past HA/AQ flights that I have been on, the Capt. came on the PA and announced our altitude:

LIH-HNL: FL140
HNL-OGG: FL120
HNL-ITO(Hilo): FL240

Just a note HA - the Flight Level (FL) designation is not used for altitudes under 18,000 feet.  Smile
