MSN001 had its first engine installed on September 23rd - but I haven't heard or seen any more since then. I've only seen a very small photo of it, and it was a close-up of the engine with just a bit of wing and nose in view.

Ooh, a dumpy little 737... at first glance! Then you realise there are two decks, massive wheel sets, etc. Massive wings and tail rudder for what really looks like a short body (perspective wise).

What an incredibly ugly airliner! And will only get worse when the wing fairings are installed.

But how exciting to see it take to the air...

I gotta say, I'm not impressed by it. The tail looks skimpy and the lowered deck cockpit doesn't give it the "girth" I thought it would. It just kind of looks like a stubby plane. Oh well...

It looks 'exactly' like those infamous sketches that newspaper editorial artist hurriedly draw up when making jokes about airlines, aircraft, mass travel, etc...

But it'll steal the show when it shows up at airports around the globe...
