American announced yesterday it will cancel its two 757 non-stops from Long Beach to New York. They will retain their five daily flights to DF/W. No loss to either city as JetBlue has four non-stops using A330-300's. They are also giving up their flight slots and seems JetBlue and Alaska will gladly take them. Alaska has servive only to SeaTac from LGB and may add additional service there or opt for Portland or San Francisco. JetBlue may add another non-stop to JFK or additional flights to Boston, Las Vegas or Salt Lake City. All Big Blue flights from LGB are non-stop.

Warren it would have been kind if instead of using sarcasm you would have told me the type of Airbus they do use. I love this site and aircraft. My only downer is that some members seem to enjoy putting down other members who make an error. Guess it makes them feel superior or something. Sad!

Dantiger - have noticed the same thing myself a few times. Some of us may know more than others when it comes to a particular subject, but it's really not necessary to belittle someone if they make a mistake!

Thank you Iowaman. Should hve known I'd get friendly accurate info. from Iowa. I was born and raised in Sioux City. A320's, great on time service, Comfy leather seats with Direct TV at every seat and a very friendly flight crew.
