I often listen to Virgin Radio at home and have recently heard them advertising BMI's new service to LAS. Why would the do that when VS also has service to LAS? Are VS and BM partners or somthing?  Confused

BMI most likely bought the advertising, money talks.

I dont think that Virgin radio is connected with the Virgin group anymore. I think theyre now owned Scottish Media or something? which would explain why they have no worries advertising a bmi route!

Hey guys,

The new MAN-LAS-MAN will be operated by BMI, but under a VS flight number. It's a codeshare flight on behalf of Virgin Atlantic.

So VS and BMI are sort of partners.

Anyway, thankyou for your help.  Smile

No N808NW, they're not partners (yet)... many rumours that at some point in the future they may become very good friends  Big grin No plan for this as such though...

Virgincrew, whats the source of your information?

I don't understand why Virgin Atlantic don't have this flight on their website, yet bmi do...

If verified, then maybe you're exaggerating a little - perhaps Virgin Atlantic happen to sell seats under their own flight code on this bmi service, rather than it being a service on behalf of Virgin Atlantic ..?

I don't like signatures...
