My question is, On the majors in America, what are the coach fare classes from cheapest to most expensive?

You know what, I am not 100% on this but I think that the letters and their fares are always changing and not consistent between airlines. Please correct if I am incorrect.

It differs from airline to airline, but fares in the Q, T and X classes are usually among the cheapest if offered in a market.

S, in general, is usually kind of cheap......in economy: Y, H, K are the more expensive classes.

Depends on the carrier and even the market. Anymore you need to know the fare basis to know where it 'ranks'. A decent rule of thumb, the longer the fare basis, the more restrictive and most likely lower it 'ranks'. Also, with the exception of 'Y', the higher up you go in the alphabet, the lower the fares tend to go. This is of course a generalization, but it basically holds true.
