Back in August, America West ordered 10 additional A320s and 7 additional A319s, while at the same time agreeing to lease 5 more A32X, one of which could be purchased. Deliveries late 2005 - 2006. Besides these the airline also had a few outstanding orders for A319/320.

We currently have plans to expand our fleet by 22 aircraft until 2006.
10 A320 A/C will be purchased through Airbus
7 A319 A/C will be purchased through Airbus
4-5 more will be leased and/or bought, to be decided later.
The aircraft are due for delivery next year, most likely towards the latter end of 2005. Rumor has it that we are looking for 757 A/C right now, since our 13 757's are pretty heavily utilized. With our 6-8 percent expansion for next year, I can almost assure that there will be some sort of a leasing deal struck, since we won't be able to expand with these Airbus-ordered planes only being delivered toward the latter part of '05.
As for upcoming special themes, I don't think that any new ones can be anticipated, I don't think it's a high priority right now, considering Ohio One is still painted in its colors, despite our CMH closure in 2002. The Suns plane was also repainted when the Suns contract went to WN.

I very highly doubt HP will reorder the A318, it is not that great of an aircraft for 100 seat operations. It is a lot of extra weight for a short hop from hot/high airports and the limited capacity. If HP gets into the 100-seat market again, it will probably be with more CR9s or E190/195s.
