I was wondering what type of aircrat is Kelowna Flightcraft using to Ft. Lauderdale this winter season? I was about to book my flight with them but I wasnt sure of what type they are using and their inflight services. I booked with Air Transat instead because of the A330-200. But someone please give me some insight on Kelowna. I know last year they used that The big yellow taxi 727, but I wouldnt trust flying on it. Are they using the 738 this year on the YYZ-FLL route?

Thanks for the info guys. I like 727's, but I dont think ill fly on one again from my experience with a Royal Airlines 727. If I knew for sure that the 738's would of been used on the FLL route, I would of flown with them. Do you guys know anything about their inflight service from personal experiences?

When I booked my flight to CUN last Spring, the travel agent suggested against travelling with Sunwing, simply because they were still a rather 'newer' start up, and if there were over-bookings at the destination hotel, we would be more likely to be 'bumped' out of a room than say, with a Conquest or Sunquest, simply because of the 'size' of the travel agency.
It HAS happened, so we decided against it..
Now, that's not to say you will have any problems..

Yeah I did price other carriers such as Skyservice, Jetsgo, Air Canada, Tango and Westjet. I never priced Canjet though. Kelowna was the cheapest, then Skyservice then Air Transat. I choose TS over 5G because of the 330. The stupid thing is Jetsgo is rediculously priced around 800. I have no idea why that is.

I'm kinda dissapointed that you would count out the 727 all together because of an experience you had on another airline no longer in existance.....but hey its your choice....I heard yesterday that possibly KFA might be leasing a second 738 due to the fact that The Big Yellow Taxi will transfered to Flair Airlines in the near future, I'll try to get confirmation on it for you....

Its not only about the 727, but also I havent heard anything really about Kelowna experiences. I just decided to go with Air Transat because the A330-200, and its my favourite plane. But please do find out more info on Kelowna for me, its great to see another airline expanding in Canada charters.
