To make a long story short, I can go to Los Cabos this Spring Break and stay for free (everything is free) but I need to pay for my airfare. The tickets on AA.com are around $840. Are there any places besides Student Universe.com that have cheap student fares? Someone said check out the travel agency on campus, which I will do.
I'd be leaving from Dayton, if that helps any. And there could be about 15-20 of us going.

Spring Break, Mexico Reort and you want a low price? Those three things do not go together. It also is not really a charter destination from the states so I would say your choices are limited.

All I know is, don't go to SUA on campus. I have heard a million and one complaints about how SUA has screwed people over big time. Pop a little more and book with someone who is reliable. But from Dayton to Los Cabos...yeah, it's gonna be pricey. Maybe drive to Indianapolis, Columbus or Cincinnati, it will probably be cheaper. Especially, perhaps, Cincinnati since it is a hub.

I'm going to start to look through CMH. I found a $481 ticket on Student Universe via CMH.

Definitely, like I said, avoid STA like the plague, based on literally 20 people i have talked to...I have only heard about 1 good response for every 5 bad...but student universe i've heard great things about.

well, even if you don't want to hear it, the others are right. the only thing you can do (if there really are 15-20 of you!) is check with a travel agent for a group discount.

I have flown internationally on STA many times and dealt with their foreign offices and never had a problem. While this does not discount other people's experiences it is a counterpoint. Try www.mobissimo.com.

Is priceline an option? Have you tried orbitz? I have never been able to find cheap student fares. I have also noticed that I always beat the student travel agencies' fares by doing my own research (plus they have service fees in this part of the world): the thing is, they make money off of people who think that the agency will give them the best fare no matter what... Look around, you still got lots of time. As it is, between your first and last posts, you have found a fare that is 1/2 what you originally saw!

Try USA3000. I know the airline operates flights from EWR to Cancun, Punta Cana, etc with an A320. They're not overly expensive too. I would suggest checking them out.

Try Cabo Air from Los Angeles...
Edit: This is a joke...
