Hi I'm just wondering if there is any RTW flight? Which airlines? What aircrafts?
Thanks.

I only know about SQ. They are offering FRA-SIN-EWR/JFK-FRA for Euro1099 here in Europe.

AFAIK only Cargo majors do that kind of flights, LH Cargo, FedEx, UPS...

I gladly accept donations to pay for flight hours!

JoFMO,

Even if that is the closest, it's still not a "real" RTW flight because the SIN-EWR leg is actully on the eastern hemisphere.

Didn't UA use to have a RTW flight?

Anyway, you can book one through Star Alliance, though obviously not on one airline.

It looks like the SIN-EWR flight goes directly over the North Pole, according to the great circle mapper. Pretty cool. UA used to offer UA 1/2 which would go around the world both ways, but they ended that after 9/11

The SIN-EWR route is a little bit tricky. EWR-SIN is most of the time routed via the North Atlantic due to its strong west winds.
The SIN-EWR route is different. It goes more or less over the north pole. But always on the Pacific-bounded side of it north of the Bering Streight. So in eastward it's a real around the worls flight while westward it's not.
