Do you a.net members reckon that i contact the airline by e-mail to find out a particular plane registratiion that I flew on.

Any thoughts would be intresting?

You can do, but getting a response is half the battle. The other half is getting them to tell you what it is and in my experience of contacting airlines for same info, you're wasting your time.

Try find it on the photo database first, it may be a long shot but you may find it. They airlines probably won't even reply.
Or, post the flight and airline and date here on A.net, someone may know.

Have done it with United, going through the contact form on their website. Got a very helpful reply after about a week, containing all the information I asked for: Tail number, wheels off and wheels on time.

All the things you probably hate about travelling are warm reminders that I'm home

I think the best way to get a registration is to look at ACARS logs available onlime. I think you'll find that a good number of European and trans-Atlantic flights are in here (other areas have people logging too).

A valuable resource for recent flights is the WorldAcarsLogs group. There are other links too, depending on where and when you traveled. For trans-Atlantic flights, Overflight Review Online is another valuable resource.
