I have a feeling that DEN will be seeing a lot more of B6 in the very near future. The other day when I was at DEN I seen that they have moved into the A Concourse. They were still setting everything up but it was looking really good. I could be mistaken because I was in a hurry to get out of there but I think that it was the gate right next to BA and they had all the back walls blue and were adding lettering kind of like what F9 has in DEN.
Now tell me where this gate came from? It doesn't sound right that F9 would be willing to share space with them and it surly doesn't seem right that even if F9 did that they would let B6 change the "look" of the gate. When I left town on a Sunday they were still out on the C and there was no sign of them on the A but when I arrived on the following SAT that is when I seen them setting up. Anyone know more about this?

I actually have a complete opposite feeling. I really don't think DEN will be seeing any more B6 future in the near future...actually one of the execs said that there will be no more expansion there.
JetBlue's flights already aren't performing too well on JFK-DEN and BOS-DEN. If you look, B6 is offering the Free Friend Fare on both DEN routes. Say if you wanted to fly between BOS and DEN tomorrow, or vice versa. I just checked a few minutes ago, and the fare was $89 on each flight. $89 is not only the BASE FARE on that flight, but it's also the base SALE fare. Therefore, I can only imagine how many people are on that flight. If I were to make an educated guess, I would think it's going out with under 80 passengers. I'm sure a B6 employee has the exact number.
However, I should admit that this isn't the fairest of all ways to judge a route. I know that DEN does excellently in the summer, on the other hand. But I don't think great summer loads would cancel out the weak winter season for B6's DEN flights.
Another reason I don't see B6 expanding DEN operations is, 1.) F9, an airline with a very similar product, has a base there, and; 2.) The airport fees are VERY high because it's a new, extremely modern and technologically advanced airport.

B6 has always used concourse A at DEN. They've been using one of F9's gates while they just had one red-eye between DEN and JFK. Now, with B6 having a couple more DEN-JFK and a few DEN-BOS flights, it sounds like they are getting their own gate full-time.
I've heard rumors about other discount carriers merging. The HP/TZ merger is the subject of another thread. B6 and F9 could also merge since they have a similar product, compatible route structure, and the fleets are compatible. However, I'm sure this has been shot down in another thread (mariner, paging mariner).

Actually B6 did originally use F9's ticket counter space and gate A-31. After Integrated airline services took over the under wing contract and B6 relocated to the new ticket counter space they relocated to gate A-33/35. F9 originally handled B6 under wing. B6 has always provided their own customer service.
