I used to but I sold it as omse one me a stupidly high price for it so it was all his. I had crashed this plane before flying it 3 foot high inverted. My engine died so we gave it hard right aileron and got it right side up but I landed in weeds to the right of the runway braking my prop and landing gear. I had it repaired the next day and was doing the same stuff.

I have been building an RC plane for about ten months now. It's my own original design, so I'm afraid that when I fly it for the first time it will just crash. Then all my hard work will have gone to waste.
It has a really small 'one speed' engine called a Killer Bee engine, made by Cox. I really like RC aircraft but I've never flown my one so I don't really know much about the techniques inolved yet. The plane I'm building has no real plans to go by so it's probably not aerodynamic enough to achieve flight. I don't think I'll fly my one, but instead buy a pre-built one and fly it, then I can get the hang of it. Then maybe I'll fly my design and see if it works.

Bryan flying RC planes is not as easy as it looks!!! Were do you live? If in Southern CA. around John wayne I will help you fly or my frinnd who taught me who is a excelent pilot will help but do get help!! Also get a plane called the Right flyer made by Global and learn to fly first then build as you will crash in the learning stage and if you built it it will take a lot more vodka to forget about it then if you did not.

Also glider are a good way to ge the feel of the stick as the are big and stable. I learnt to fly on a right flyer 60 which is a great airplane. But expensive. It also does aerobatics for when you get better.

The reason why I asked was that I just finished my Goldberg Eagle 2. It looks real nice. I have taxied it but not flown it. I have a few minor things to do on it and plan to fly it around the 1st of the year. I can't wait to fly it. I have a Futaba 6XA radio and an OS 40 engine. It is blue with red and yellow stripes.

I learnt to fly on a Goldbarg Freedom 20. I have flown a eagle 2 so many times I flew one eith a 90 4 stroke and that think took off and went strait up. Go to a club to learn to fly and ask an old guy. the guy that taught me lives the street across and I meet him through a neighbor and he was great. He is the teacher at our flyig site and really nows what he id doing and he still lets me fly his planes which is nice. But do get som one to help you out. Have you flown a real plane as that is not helpful as when you fly an RC plane towards you you have to use the reverse controls and that takes a while to master then upside down infront of you is a whole different ball game if you stay wit hthis sport for a while you will learn how to do it. I had been flying for 4 years before I could. IIs you OS an FP. I like four stokes as they sound real but expensive. I never owned one. Do you have AMA insurance this is a 3rd party insurance that you need if you run into some car it pays them up to $2,000,000. I used to be trusted flying other people plane which is alot of fun but you never do anything stupid with them just the pattern!! Any question E-mail me.
Please do get som one to help you I know it is hard to do but first flight trimming it out is very tuff! And learning to fly is tuff to. I used to trim people planesout ofr them even if they had been flying for longer then I had as I had lots of practice and they felt safe with me flying it then themselves.
