I was wondering how many airlines had Airbuses but no Boeings or Boeings but no airbuses. Southwest comes to mind.

Is there such a thing as an Airbus only airline?

I know that CO is all boeing, or atleast they will be when they get rid of their last MD80's. Airtran and Southwest is all Boeing too. Frontier I know is all Airbus, now that they have retured their 737's to the leasing company.

Just My 2 Cents

AM will eventually become an all-Boeing airline, after the MD-80's are finally replaced by B737's. B752, B762's and B763's are also in its fleet now. Up to 4 B777's are expected next year.

Why do people always forget TAP Air Portugal (all-Airbus)? LTU and Iberworld are also all-Airbus. Gulf Air has not transferred all B767s to Gulf Traveller, some are left.

Silk Air (SQ's subsidiary): All A320 (Not counting parent company)

Virgin Blue + Pacific Blue (Not counting parent company): All Boeing 737s (733, 73G & 738)

QANTAS used to be all Boeings until they bought the A330s end of 2002. So was Air NZ before they bought the A320s.

Jetstar (Not counting parent company QANTAS) will soon operate an All Airbus fleet (A320s), but at the moment, they are still operating B717s.

AK

Condor Berlin is still around. In fact, Condor management is considering shifting more capacity to this subisidary and letting the "mainline" Condor run out over a longer period of time due to its higher production costs.
