French aviation weekly Air & Cosmos is reporting that Qatar Airways will delay its A380s to 2009; in exchange agreeing to commit to the soon to be launched A350.

What I can’t quite figure is it this is the delay that was already announced some months ago. IIRC Qatar’s A380s were initially supposed to come in 2007; then when the order was confirmed deliveries were delayed by 18 months to the end of 2008.. so is this a further delay.

Wonder WHY they need the A 380 to be honest. Do they really need it?

No A VS B please!
