Iberia 744 In Singapore Monday 18th?

Hi. I saw an Iberia 747-400 at the hangars in Singapore on monday (18-10-04). Anyone know which one this was? Was this one of the two existing ones, or are they getting a third? Anyone know the reg? Thanks.

Could be TF-AMB as I have not seen it as operating any IB flight the last three days. Probably down there for some maintenance checks.

Both Iberia 747-400 are operated by Air Atlanta. Registrations are TF-AMA and TF-AMB.
it would be good to see what is the reg of the one at SIA hangers, to try to deduce whether a third one is coming (if so, one would expect it to be TF-AMC)

A few weeks back TF-AMA had an emergency landing at MAD, I was there to see it. I havnt seen it doing flights, but i have seen TF-AMB doing flights, and the A340 going to TFN alot. Maybe it was a serious problem thats why it had an emergency landing?

Does anyone know what ever happend to there plan of leasing two TAM A330-200s? Maybe they went with the 744 instead.

TF-AMA (9V-SMC) is in the hangar atm getting modificationss to interior, due out end of the month. Info from Vector Grafix on 9V.

That is strange, how come they didnt do the modification before the delivery flight? That puzzles me.

I was right!

It had some troubles last month as i mentchonied. But since it is getting interior modifactions, I guess the troubles are over.
