I have a small impresion that KLM's inside cabins are a little bit old compared to other aorlines.
Lets say BA for exampl they have excellent cabin looks.
Even AZ, they have very comfortable cabins.

What do you think?

All my toughts are in aviation!!!

Could not agree more with you! Fortunately KL is introducing its new fleet of 777. But the 747s and 767s inside cabins are most certainly very old and worn out!

The reason for KL's older looking cabins is because they have not upgraded their older widebodies to the Boeing Signature Interior (formerly the 777 interior). All new Boeing widebodies come with it, and it is offered for retrofit, which is one of the reasons BA cabins look better. They have been able to upgrade their looks because they have introduced the new Club World. The KL 777s will, obviously, have the BSI and may some day get the upgrade in their older planes.

BA and KLM have exactly the same cabin. BA has different seats with PTV. I think KLM´s seats on most 747 are newer.

Looking at the pictures, does BA have individual airducts?

In Business Class KLM introduced new seat in 1999/2000. Lavatories were upgraded around the same time. Don´t know if BA did this.

I checked pictures in the data base. Boeing Signature Interior is not installed on any aircraft in the data base by BA and it is not standard on new 747´s.

I don´t know an airline that has bought the Signature Interior ...

I fly KLM every year combined with CO and sometimes AF. Even though I did not flew on BA, the seats and look of KLM´s cabin is pretty much the same as the others (only to mention CO has PTV in 767s and KLM doesnt). But in overall, the cabin are very similar.
